Digital Design based on your Digital scan and shade prescription. Design preview can be shared for complex anterior cases before milling.

Step 03

Mill & Polish High-precision milling from PMMA puck, followed by hand-polishing to achieve high-quality surface finish. Shade verification before packaging.

Delivery Individually packaged, shade-labelled, and delivered within 5–7 working days.

How long can a patient wear a PMMA provisional crown?

Standard PMMA provisionals can be worn comfortably for up to 6 months. Our long-term-wear PMMA grade is rated for 9–12 months, making it suitable for delayed loading implant cases or extended restorative timelines. The durability is exceptional — far superior to chairside hand-processed acrylic.

Is PMMA the same as chairside composite?

No. Our PMMA provisionals are milled from high-strength PMMA blocks in a laboratory setting under controlled conditions. This results in superior surface hardness, better shade consistency, and far greater durability than chairside composites. You are paying for precision, durability, and the ability to shade-match during manufacturing.

What turnaround time should I expect for PMMA provisionals?

5 to 7 working days for standard single-unit and multi-unit cases. For urgent cases, contact your named technician directly and we can often provide express service within 2–3 working days for a +20% surcharge.

Can PMMA provisionals be made from Digital scans?

Yes. We strongly prefer digital files for provisional cases — the accurate marginal data from Digital scans results in better-fitting provisionals. Send your Digital scan file and shade prescription directly to your named technician.

Can the provisional crown be worn immediately after implant placement?

Yes. For immediate loading protocols, PMMA provisionals are fabricated before surgery and delivered to your practice so they can be placed at the time of implant placement. This requires having the case submitted before the surgical date.

Are PMMA provisionals shade-matched?

Yes. We use VITA Classical and 3D Master shade systems. Send your shade prescription with the case, or include photographs of adjacent teeth in natural daylight. We design the PMMA provisional to match either the shade tabs you send or your reference photography.
