Hi, I’m Colin. I have worked in dental technology for over 35 years and am proud to be part of the team at iCare Lab Ltd as Laboratory Manager and Senior Dental Technician.
Throughout my career, I have always believed that every appliance we make ultimately affects a patient sitting in a dental chair. That simple thought has guided me from my first day in the profession and continues to motivate me today.
For me, dental technology has never been just about models, dentures, impressions or materials. It is about helping dentists deliver confident treatment and ensuring patients receive devices that are comfortable, functional and made with care.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of managing busy dental laboratories, working with talented clinicians and technicians, and helping thousands of patients through the work we do behind the scenes. I have a particular passion for prosthetics and take great pride in producing high-quality dental appliances that make a genuine difference to people’s lives. I also firmly believe that most challenges can be overcome with good communication, teamwork and, occasionally, a decent cup of coffee
When people ask me what makes a successful dental laboratory, my answer is always the same:
“Look after the patient, support the dentist, and the rest usually takes care of itself.”
As Laboratory Manager, I oversee production, quality control, workflow management, stock control and day-to-day laboratory operations. My goal is simple: to ensure every case leaving iCare Lab meets the highest standards of quality, reliability and patient care.

Hello, I’m Mohammed, and I’m delighted to be part of the team at iCare Lab Ltd.
I have over 13 years of experience working in dental laboratories, including four years in a specialist ceramic laboratory. Throughout my career, I have developed a passion for precision, quality and craftsmanship, taking pride in producing dental appliances that help dentists deliver excellent care to their patients.
My experience covers every stage of the laboratory process, from impression casting and trimming through to waxing, casting, ceramic build-up, finishing and the manufacture of removable orthodontic appliances. I enjoy working methodically and accurately, ensuring each restoration meets the highest possible standard before it leaves the laboratory.
At iCare Lab, I am excited to combine my traditional laboratory experience with the latest digital technologies. I have a strong desire to continue learning and developing my skills in CAD/CAM workflows, digital dentistry and modern manufacturing techniques, allowing us to provide an even better service to the practices we support.
When people ask me what motivates me, my answer is simple:

Outside the laboratory, I enjoy swimming, keeping fit and spending time with my family. I believe that maintaining a healthy balance helps me stay focused, motivated and committed to delivering the highest standards in my work.
