iCare Lab is a dental laboratory service provider. We work in collaboration with licensed dental practitioners who are responsible for:
- Patient assessment and clinical diagnosis
- Obtaining informed consent from the patient
- Provision of accurate case specifications and directives
- Seating and adjustment of laboratory work
- Patient counselling and clinical management
iCare Lab provides laboratory manufacturing services and does not diagnose patients, prescribe treatment or replace the professional judgement of the treating clinician. The dental practice remains responsible for clinical decisions, fitting and patient care. This does not exclude iCare Lab’s responsibility for the quality, safety or conformity of the laboratory work it supplies.
Product and Warranty Disclaimer
Laboratory work is manufactured using the prescription, specifications and clinical information supplied by the dental practice. Clinical suitability, appearance and expected longevity may be affected by the patient’s condition, oral hygiene, use, fitting, adjustment and maintenance. The specific warranty applying to laboratory work is set out in section 6 of our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes an express warranty given by iCare Lab or any obligation or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Product Quality Limitations
All dental laboratory work is subject to normal wear and tear. Patients should be counselled by the dental practice regarding expected longevity and maintenance requirements.
Damage to laboratory work resulting from the following is not covered under our warranty:
- Patient-related factors (habits, dietary choices, trauma)
- Improper clinical application or adjustment
- Inadequate maintenance or oral hygiene
- Natural wear and ageing
- Acts of God or force majeure
