At iCare Lab, we have built our all-on-X workflow around one principle: everything is planned from a single digital model. Your surgeon places the implants according to a surgical guide we designed from your patient's CBCT. Immediately after implant placement, a PMMA temporary restoration is seated - fabricated from the same digital design as the final restoration, so the patient does not experience any aesthetic or functional surprises between temporary and final. During osseointegration, we begin designing the final superstructure.
The classic all-on-4 design. A precision-milled titanium framework precisely designed to distribute bite forces across four implants. Acrylic teeth are bonded to the titanium surface. The framework is screw-retained to the implant fixtures. This option offers excellent longevity, predictable strength, and cost efficiency. Ideal for patients with good bone volume and realistic aesthetic expectations.
Same principle as all-on-4 but with six implants providing enhanced load distribution and greater margin for implant failure. Particularly valuable for patients with compromised bone quality, smokers, or those desiring maximum longevity and strength. The additional implants improve the overall stability of the superstructure.
A lighter-weight alternative to a titanium frame. The artificial teeth are bonded to an acrylic base that is screw-retained to the implants. This option simplifies manufacturing while providing good aesthetic and functional outcomes. Easier to adjust chairside if needed. Popular with practices that want to offer all-on-X at a lower price point.
Maximum aesthetic and strength option. The entire superstructure — framework and teeth — is milled from monolithic zirconia in a single milling operation. No metal components visible. Offers exceptional strength and biocompatibility. Requires higher precision in planning and manufacturing. Recommended for cases where aesthetic perfection is the priority.
Pre-Surgical Planning Receive patient's CBCT and IOS scan. Conduct collaborative planning with your surgical team. Design surgical guide from CBCT data. Submit guide design for approval before implant surgery.
Implant Placement & Guide Your surgeon places implants using the surgical guide. All-on-X placement typically achieved in one appointment. Images and implant position data sent to iCare Lab immediately.
PMMA Provisional Fabrication (If Immediate Loading) From the same digital dataset as the final restoration, PMMA provisional is milled and delivered within 5–7 days. Patient has fixed teeth while bone heals.
Osseointegration & Final Design During 3–6 month bone healing phase, final superstructure is designed. Multiple design reviews can occur if needed before fabrication.
Titanium Framework Precision-milled Grade 5 titanium. Lightweight, excellent biocompatibility, proven longevity. Acrylic teeth are bonded to the titanium surface. This remains the most frequently prescribed all-on-X material worldwide.
Acrylic Denture Base For hybrid denture construction. Lightweight acrylic resin provides a cost-effective base for tooth-bonded composite teeth. Easier to adjust and repair chairside compared to titanium.
Composite Denture Teeth High-strength, wear-resistant composite resin teeth bonded to the metal or acrylic base. Available in full VITA shade range. Provide natural appearance and reasonable longevity.
Monolithic Zirconia All-zirconia construction for maximum strength and full-arch aesthetic. No metal components. Requires careful planning and precise manufacturing. Recommended for aesthetic anterior zones.
