For patients who want an additive, enamel-preserving option, we design at 0.3–0.5 mm and deliver each unit individually packaged with its prep specification. Because little or no dentine is removed, the case stays reversible, which is a far easier conversation for a hesitant patient to say yes to.
For complete smile transformations of six units or more we run a co-ordinated design process. We design the full case digitally from your scan and photography and share a preview, so contour, incisal length and midline are agreed before a single unit is finished. One lead technician stays with the case throughout.
Posterior cases with wide cavities or cusp coverage benefit from an indirect approach. The digital workflow gives us better marginal data for thin anterior restorations than physical impressions.
