A good Emax veneer does not look like a veneer. It looks like a tooth - but better. The translucency gradient of IPS e.max lithium disilicate allows light to pass through the incisal third the way it does through natural enamel, which is what gives the restoration that lifelike depth that composite simply cannot replicate. We design every Emax veneer in EXOCAD, review the contour and emergence with your shade notes, and mill from genuine IPS e.max CAD blocks.
For patients with heavy bruxism or a history of previous restoration failure where Emax is contraindicated, we offer high-translucency multilayer zirconia veneers as an alternative. The aesthetics are not quite at the Emax level for thin anterior cases, but the additional strength makes it a clinically sound choice when longevity is the priority. Ultra-thin porcelain veneers designed for cases where enamel preservation is the primary objective. These require precise CAD/CAM milling at 0.2–0.3mm thickness — a tolerance that simply is not achievable with hand-pressed techniques. We design these digitally, mill to precise spec, and provide individual protective packaging for each unit. Please confirm tooth preparation status and send pre-prep shade photography with these cases
For complete smile transformations involving 6 or more units, we offer a co-ordinated design review process. After receiving your IOS scan and shade documentation, we design the full smile in EXOCAD and share a digital preview before a single unit is milled. This means you can discuss contour, incisal length, and midline position with your patient before committing to the milling stage. We treat these cases as a priority and assign a lead technician for the duration.
Submit Your Case, shade photography, and any pre-op records to your named veneer technician. For multi-unit smile cases, include lip retraction photography and any shade tab images taken in natural light.
Your technician designs the veneers. For 4-unit and above cases, a digital design preview is shared via WhatsApp or email before milling. You can request contour adjustments, incisal length changes, or shade modifications at this stage at no extra cost.
Mill, Crystallise & Characterise Each veneer is milled from genuine IPS e.max CAD blocks, crystallised in our in-house Programat furnaces, and hand-characterised with surface staining to build depth and natural optical variation.
